Challenge
Local governments have made leaps forward in bringing their services online. However, there are still many actions that still need to be completed in-person. In addition, many of the digital solutions don’t go far enough. They are difficult for residents to find and use, or they still create headaches for the staff that need to manage them.
Approach
We look at problems holistically, and consider what is best for both government teams and their customers. We don’t use technology as a bandaid. We use it as a tool, to help our clients achieve outcomes faster and more efficiently.
We believe in getting to results quickly, which usually involves prototypes, and user testing, and launching minimum viable products to get real-world feedback as quickly as possible.
We’re interested in working with you to improve how our cities and counties do business. We can provide solutions to streamline processes that touch multiple agencies but serve the same customer. And solutions that require a deep dive into a single activity, such as building department inspections.
Experience
We’ve worked with departments of technology and innovation to improve service delivery writ large. And we’ve worked with individual agencies and business leaders to help them rethink how to best achieve the goal at hand.
We’ve led projects that dramatically shifted behavior from in person to online interactions, reduced wait times at physical customer service centers, increased end-to-end service delivery, and reduced both active and passive time to deliver a service. These projects span multiple public sector functions including healthcare, public safety, permitting, and business affairs.
